• The S/4HANA system has been upgraded from 2023 to 2025.
• The connection test is working under System Landscape:  Connection Test succeeded
• Trying to activate SAP Managed Data Product in SAP Business Data Cloud and the following error message(s) is displayed during Pre-check:
  
  
  • Pre-activation check for data product(s) in XYZ did not run because of a technical issue. As a result, the activation could not proceed. Please retry later or contact SAP Support if the issue persists. 
    
    
  • HTTP Status: 500 error
    Error Code: failed to pre-check before update package, installationId:
    Technical Message: No source system found in the formation. Ensure a source system is properly configured
  • HTTP Status: 500 error
    Error Code: failed to uninstall package 
    Technical Message: Error during connection check in S4.
