In Manage Business Configuration, the 'amount' and 'total amount' field is configured as 2-digit decimals but still some pay components display single decimal.
"Image/data in this KBA is from SAP internal systems, sample data, or demo systems. Any resemblance to real data is purely coincidental."
Environment
- SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central
- SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central - Compensation Information
- SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central - Pay Component Recurring
Reproducing the Issue
- Go to Compensation Information.
- Go to Pay Component Recurring section.
- Observe that the amount is still showing 1 digit decimal even though it is configured as 2-digit decimal in Manage Business Configuration.
Cause
This is an expected behavior.
Resolution
This is expected behavior.
If an amount is entered with a zero after the decimal (e.g., 19.30), it will be treated as 19.3.
Similarly, if the value is 19.102, it will be considered as 19.1, and if it is 19.108, it will be rounded to 19.11.
In all cases, the system uses the rounded value.
