3773322 - SAC - Can a report or story be created from planning story comments (table and cell level) ?

• Users are entering comments in planning templates and are seeking confirmation on whether a report can be created based on those comments.
• The request involves utilizing comments provided by users at both table and cell levels across different planning stories to analyze functionality.

• Data Point and Dimension Commenting

1. Enter comments in a planning template at table and/or cell level in planning stories.
2. Attempt to create a separate story or report based on those comments.

By design, comments are a collaboration feature tied to the underlying data context and are not stored as an independent, reportable dataset.

1. Note that creating a report or story directly from user comments (story/widget/table/cell-level) is currently not supported.
2. Use the comment panel or a comment widget within stories to view and manage comments in their context.
3. Use Comment Management to get a centralized overview of comments across models and versions, and perform actions such as sorting and deleting where needed.
