3773365 - Future HRBP cannot access Review New Hire Data of Internal Hires before Start Date - Onboarding

Future HRBPs (future Employee HR under Job Relationship) of internal hires cannot view or act on the New Hire Data Review in the Onboarding Dashboard.

SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding

1. Initiate an internal hire (crossboarding) and ensure the current HRBP and the future HRBP are different users.
2. Complete/approve the change so that the future HRBP is assigned the Review Employee Data task.
3. As the future HRBP, open the Onboarding Dashboard or the Review New Hire Data card from the home page.
4. Observe that the New Hire Data Review has no Start button, opens blank, or does not load, while the current HRBP can view and act on the hire.
5. After the internal hire’s start date passes, the future HRBP can see the data and act on the task, while the current HRBP no longer has those actions.

The behavior is expected, and is not a role-based permission issue.

The system currently does not allow the future HRBP to access or complete the New Hire Data Review for an internal hire before the hire’s start date.
