3773383 - Actual Work Not Updated in an Intercompany Project

The Actual Work in an Intercompany Project is not updated as expected when time bookings are performed by a service agent.

 SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to the Project Management work center.
2. Go to the Projects view.
3. Open the Project ID ABC (ABC represents Project Id).
4. Go to Work sub-tab.

The Actual Work is not updated in the Intercompany Project.

In standard system behavior:

• For normal projects, service agents can book time, and the entries are reflected in the project.
• For intercompany projects (ICP), only employees or service agents who is also an employee can book time.

If the time booking is made by a service agent without employee linkage, the actual work will not be updated in the Intercompany Project.

To ensure Actual Work updates correctly in the Intercompany Project:

• Time bookings must be recorded by an employee, or
• By a service agent who is also an employee.
