3773484 - cannot delete maintenance order component when purchase requisition exists (errors m3282, m3351, me005)

Symptom

  • Unable to delete materials/components from a maintenance order when a purchase requisition (PR) exists. Possible errors returned like
  • Error: M3282 - "MRP controller & is not defined in plant &".
  • Error: M3351 - "Material & not maintained in plant &".
  • Error: ME005 - "Plant & and storage location & not defined (Please check your input)".
  • Error: IW196 - "Purchase requisition could not be generated for component".
  • The reservation and PR show the expected plant, but the system validates against a different plant.
