3773522 - inbound queue stuck with error 'status of at least one serial number of item &1 is not allowed' (m7 193) - SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud Edition

Stuck EWM inbound queue for an inbound delivery with error "Status of at least one serial number of item &1 is not allowed" (M7 193)

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

1. Attempt to post goods receipt for an inbound delivery with a serialized item via EWM integration.
2. Observe that the EWM inbound queue entry remains stuck and the system shows error "Status of at least one serial number of item &1 is not allowed" (M7 193).

There can be multiple causes:

1. The serial number was already posted with a prior goods receipt, so its status does not allow another goods receipt from EWM, which leads to the inbound queue error.
2. The "Last Goods Movement" date at APP Display Material Serial Numbers(IQ03) is later than the posting date of the stuck queue(inbound delivery Goods Receipt date). The possible processing steps could be:
   1. Create Purchase order and follow Up inbound delivery, delivery is distributed to WM.
   2. Post good receipt for inbound delivery, stuck queue is generated with message "M7 021" indicating there is no enough stock at supplier plant.
   3. User Post goods recipe into supplier plant with serial numbers for the inbound delivery at step 2. Now there is enough stock at Supplier for inbound delivery.
   4. Reprocess the stuck queue, error message is changed as "Status of at least one serial number of item &1 is not allowed" (M7 193).

Solution for first Cause:

1. In the app Display Material Serial Numbers (IQ03), open the serial number and choose History to verify prior postings for the serial number.
2. Identify the previously posted goods receipt material document for that serial number.
3. Cancel/reverse the prior goods receipt material document.
4. Reprocess the stuck EWM inbound queue entry.

Solution for second Cause:

• Either change the "Last Goods Movement Date" at APP Display Material Serial Numbers as a earlier date than stuck queue posting date then reprocess the stuck queue.
• Or set the stuck queue posting date later than "Last Goods Movement Date" at APP Message Dashboard, please refer
