Symptom

  • An onchange rule under homeAddress hris element is working in the legacy people profile but does not triggered successfully for latest people profile.

Environment

  • SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central
  • Emergency Contact Details

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Configure an onchange business rule under  home address (example: address1) such as “cust_homeaddress_onchange”.
  2. Open Emergency Contact and edit the Home Address using legacy people profile: the onchange rule runs as expected.
  3. Repeat the same action using the latest edit UI or the latest history UI: the onchange rule does not run.

Cause

This is known issue.

Resolution

We are planning to fix this in 2026 2H release, and patch details will be shared once it is determined.
