3773867 - Last Synchronization Shows "Never" On IPad

When logging into SAP Cloud for Customer application on an iPad mobile device, the synchronization status displays "Last synchronization: Never." despite the data having been synchronized previously.

As a result of this issue:

• Offline mode becomes disabled or grayed out until users manually synchronize again
• Resyncing takes considerable time to complete

SAP Cloud for Customer

1. Log in to the SAP Cloud for Customer application on iPad
2. Navigate to Profile
3. Observe the synchronization status
4. The system displays "Last synchronization: Never." even though prior synchronizations were completed

To prevent the last synchronization status from showing "Never" and ensure offline mode remains functional, apply the following settings adjustments on your iPad:

1. Internet Connectivity: 
   • Use a stable and consistent internet connection while syncing data
   • Avoid switching between Wi-Fi and cellular networks during synchronization

2. App Storage Management: 
   • Turn OFF "Offload Unused Apps"
   • Navigate to: Settings → App Store → Offload Unused Apps → Toggle OFF

3. Device Storage: 
   • Keep sufficient free storage available on the iPad
   • Recommended minimum: 10–20% free storage space

4. Safari Privacy Settings: 
   • Turn OFF "Prevent Cross-Site Tracking"
   • Navigate to: Settings → Safari → Prevent Cross-Site Tracking → Toggle OFF

5. Mobile Device Management: 
   • If MDM is configured on your device, verify that MDM policies do not restrict app functionality or data synchronization
   • If affected iPad enrolled in any MDM, please check with your IT team whether any policies are restricting the data synchronization

6. Operating System: 
   • Keep the iPadOS version up to date
   • Navigate to: Settings → General → Software Update → Install latest updates
