3773924 - FOT_TXA080 raised when maintaining RITA countries in SSCUI 103464

When maintaining a foreign tax registration country/region in SSCUI 103464 – Activate RITA and Maintain Tax Registration Countries/Regions, one or more of the following errors is raised:

• FOT_TXA080 – Country/region <XX> is not active in your system.
• RITA cannot be activated for country/region *.

This may occur even though the country/region is listed as supported for Registration for Indirect Taxation Abroad (RITA) in SAP Help.

The requested country/region is not active in the system.

A country/region being supported for RITA does not, by itself, indicate that the corresponding country/region content is active in the customer's tenant.

Before a country/region can be maintained as a foreign tax registration country in SSCUI 103464, ensure that the corresponding country/region content has been activated in accordance with the Registration for Indirect Taxation Abroad (RITA) prerequisites and the applicable Central Business Configuration (CBC) requirements.

The activation requirements may differ depending on the country/region and supported business scenario. Refer to SAP Note 2907372 and the Registration for Indirect Taxation Abroad documentation for the applicable prerequisites.
