3773991 - E-verify encountered data errors: i551_number is required (missing i-551 number) - Onboarding

When try to complete the E-verify task, the error message appear: E-Verify encountered data errors. Please contact Technical Support with the following error details: i551_number: Invalid value for "i551_number", i551_number is required.

SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding

1. Proxy as the hiring user and open the E-Verify task from the To-Do list.
2. Start the E-Verify task.
3. Fill in the required details.
4. Submit the case.
5. The error appears: "E-Verify encountered data errors" with detail that i551_number is required.

The I-551 number was not maintained in the E-Verify Data record while the Document A Type Code is set to Form I-551, so the required i551_number field is missing.

1. Go to Manage Data.
2. Search for E-Verify Data and open the record for the affected E-Verify task.
3. Select Take Action > Make Correction.
4. If Document A Type Code is Form I-551, enter the I-551 Number in the corresponding field.
5. Save the changes.
6. Proxy as the hiring user and resubmit the E-Verify process.
