3774023 - On Creating New Sales Quote Version all the Related Entities are not Getting Copied

Symptom

When creating new sales quote version, only opportunity is copied in newly created version not other entities such as lead , sales order and sales quote.

Environment

  • SAP Sales Cloud and SAP Service Cloud Version 2.
  • SAP Sales Cloud Version 2.
  • SAP Service Cloud Version 2. 

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to the Sales Quote view.
  2. Search and open the Quote PQR (where PQR represent the sales quote name) .
  3. Go to the General tab of sales quote PQR and further to the Related Entities section.
  4. You can it has related entities such as : Opportunity, Lead, Sales Quote and Sales Order .
  5. Go to header of quote PQR and click on Action -> Create Version and Save it .
  6. You will see in the new quote version created PQR1 (where PQR1 represent the new quote version name) .
  7. Go to the Related Entities section of PQR1, you will only see Opportunity got copied from original quote PQR not the other entities such as : Lead, Sales Order and Sales Quote.

Cause

We currently do not support copying of entity such as lead, quote and sales order when creating new sales quote versions .

Resolution

This is the current system behavior.
