3774046 - "Previously:" indicator is displayed when editing fields in custom MDF object portlets on Latest People Profile

• When creating a new record or editing an existing record in a People Profile portlet for a custom MDF object, the system displays the previous value of a field below the current value, prefixed with "Previously:".
• This behavior does not occur when creating or editing the same record through Manage Data.
• There is a requirement to remove or hide the "Previously:" text.

SAP SuccessFactors HCM Suite

1. Open a custom MDF object card on the Latest People Profile (Full Profile).
2. Create a new record or edit an existing record.
3. Change the value of a field.
4. Observe that the previous value is displayed below the current value, prefixed with "Previously:".
   
   

This is the expected behavior of the Latest People Profile when the new Editing UI is enabled.

As described in SAP Help Portal - New Editing UI of Full Profile, when a field value is updated, including fields that were previously empty, the system displays the previous value below the field, prefixed with the indicator "Previously:".

There is currently no provisioning setting, feature toggle, or configuration available to remove or hide the "Previously:" indicator while the new Editing UI is enabled.

As a workaround, the Latest People Profile new Editing UI can be disabled for the specific portlet:

1. Go to Admin Center > Configure Latest People Profile.
2. Locate the relevant custom MDF card under Full Profile.
3. Disable the option "Enable the latest Viewing, Editing and History UI on Full Profile (With Non-Configurable UI)".
4. Save the configuration.
5. Log out and log back in.
6. Verify that the profile is using the legacy UI and that the "Previously:" indicator is no longer displayed.
