3774087 - A newly created workspace by copying an existing one does not appear in the "Explore Workspaces" list for other users

Symptom

  • A newly created workspace by copying an existing one does not appear in the "Explore Workspaces" list for other users.
  • The workspace is set to public, and it can be accessed by searching for the workspace name in the header search box.

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors HCM Suite

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Create a new workspace by copying an existing workspace.
  2. Log in with a different user.
  3. Open the Workspaces tab and select "Explore Workspaces".
  4. Observe the copied workspace is not listed, but it can be found via the header search box by name.

Cause

This is a Known Issue. The new group created during the workspace copy does not inherit the original group's visibility rules.

Resolution

Product Engineering is investigating a solution.

Workaround

Use the header search box to locate the copied workspace by name as a temporary workaround.
