3774097 - BEx ABAP Web shows "400 session not found" over http after upgrade to S/4HANA 2023

Symptom

  • When accessing BW/BEx ABAP Web, the error "400 Session not found" occurs.
  • Access over HTTPS works, but access over HTTP fails with the session error.
  • The issue started after an upgrade to S/4HANA 2023.
  • The error also occurs when opening variable help (F4).
