3774126 - US Compliance Disability Form (CC-305) Displays an Expired OMB Date in SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding

Symptom

  • In SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding, the U.S. Compliance Disability Self-Identification Form (CC-305) displayed to onboardees shows as expiration date that has already passed.
  • Customers may observe that users are still able to access, complete, and sign the form despite the displayed expiration date and may want to confirm whether the form remains valid for use.

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Navigate to the SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding process in the production environment.
  2. Initiate or access an onboarding process that includes the US Compliance Disability form (CC-305).
  3. Open the form presented to the onboardee.
  4. Observe that the form displays an OMB expiration date that has already passed.
  5. Notice that users are still able to access, complete, and sign the form.

Cause

  • The expiration date displayed on Form CC-305 refers to the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) approval period and does not necessarily indicate that the form is invalid for use.
  • According to guidance from the Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP), forms may continue to be used after the displayed OMB expiration date while the underlying information collection remains under review by the OMB.
  • As a result, the current version of Form CC-305 remains valid until an updated version is officially published by the U.S. government.

Resolution

  • Based on the information published by the Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP), employers may continue using the current version of Form CC-305 even if the OMB expiration date displayed on the form has passed, provided that the form remains under OMB review.
  • SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding will continue to support the current version of Form CC-305 until official updates are published by the U.S. government. Customers can monitor anticipated compliance updates by referring to SAP Knowledge Base Article https://me.sap.com/notes/3701075/E and the Onboarding Compliance Form Updates documentation.
  • Once the U.S. government releases revised guidance or an updated version of Form CC-305, SAP will review the changes and update the compliance form accordingly.
  • Therefore, no action is required at this time, and employers may continue using the current Form CC-305.
