Symptom

It is requested to know whether the project currency can be defined as the leading currency in the currency handling section for Recognition Key EPMFC (EPM Project Cost-based POC).

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition 2602

Cause

The requested currency handling for EPPM projects within Event-Based Revenue Recognition (EBRR) is not currently supported.

Resolution

According to the SAP Help Portal guidance on Currency Handling in Event-Based Revenue Recognition and the configuration options available in SSCUI 102530 (Maintain Settings for Event-Based Revenue Recognition), only company code currency, object currency, and functional currency are currently supported.

If additional currency handling options are required, it is recommended to submit a feature request through the SAP Customer Influence Program. To do so, please visit the Customer Influence website, select SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition, Finance, and submit your request. The Customer Influence Program allows customers to propose and vote on improvement requests, which can help prioritize the development of new features.
