3774292 - Section is not allowed error when uploading a template with a different logon language

Symptom

In app "Upload Customer Open Items" or "Import Supplier Invoices", uploading a non-English template fails. 

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Log on to the system using a language that does not match the template language (for example, log on in English).
  2. Open the app "Upload Customer Open Items".
  3. Attempt to upload a template created in another language (for example, German).
  4. Observe the errors "Section is not allowed" for multiple sections.

Cause

The logon language does not match the language of the template being uploaded. Templates are language-specific and validated against the current logon language.

Resolution

  1. Log on to the system using the same language as the template (for example, log on in German for a German template).
  2. Or download a fresh template from the app while logged on in that language to ensure all section names and headers match.
