Symptom
The outputs from print were generated, but the output from the email was not generated, nor did it throw any error.
For example, issues like this might occur with dunning notices or payment advice.
Environment
SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition
Cause
In the Output Parameter Determination app, for Rules 'Dunning' / 'Payment Advices' and Determination Step 'Channel', the "Exclusive Indicator" was set to true on a rule row. This causes only the first matching row (for example, print) to be processed and prevents subsequent rows (for example, email) from being evaluated.
Resolution
In the "Exclusive Indicator" column, ensure all relevant rows are set to '-' (false).
Do not set them to exclusive (true); otherwise, only the first matching row will be processed.
