How to keep a record of changes to fixed locations (like fixed bin assignments, including quantity changes and other modifications)?

To view and maintain a record of modifications, please utilize any of the following standard SAP paths: 

Method 1: Via the Change/Display Storage Bins App

1. Open the "Change Storage Bins" or "Display Storage Bins" app. 
2. Enter the specific Fixed Storage Bin ID.
3. Select: More -> Storage Bin -> Display Fixed Bin Assignment Change Documents.

Method 2: Via the Warehouse Monitor App

1. Open your Warehouse Monitor and expand the tree to: Stock and Bin -> Storage Bin.
2. Search for and highlight your affected fixed storage bin row.
3. Click the "More Methods" button on the transaction menu and select "Display Bin Change Documents".

Both methods will provide you with a comprehensive audit trail containing the exact user details, the specific date/time of the modification, the old values, and the newly assigned values (including minimum/maximum quantities).
