3774618 - Logon data incomplete (CALL_FUNCTION_SIGNON_INCOMPL) when configuring RFC SNC Principal Propagation with SAP BTP Destination and Cloud Connector

Symptom

  • When configuring RFC Principal Propagation using an SAP BTP OnPremise RFC Destination and SAP Cloud Connector, the RFC call fails with the error:
    •  "Initialization of repository destination <destination_name> failed: Logon data incomplete."

  • The exception contains the backend error CALL_FUNCTION_SIGNON_INCOMPL , indicating that the RFC repository destination could not be initialized due to incomplete logon data.

  • The SAP BTP Destination is configured as an OnPremise RFC destination and contains additional SNC-related properties.
