3774667 - Business Partner Replication to Sales Cloud v2 fails for Employee Partner Function

• Business Partner replication to Sales Cloud Version 2 does not work for employee partner function "VE".
• Replication works for employee-based partner function "ZM", but fails for "VE".

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

1. Implement the mapping for WorkAssignmentExternalID as per the referenced guidance.
2. Trigger Business Partner replication to Sales Cloud Version 2 for an employee assigned with partner function VE.
3. Observe that replication fails for VE while succeeding for ZM, and that the outbound payload for VE lacks the WorkAssignmentExternalID node.

The WorkAssignmentExternalID node is not generated automatically for employee partner functions other than ER, resulting in missing data for VE during replication.

1. Review the outbound XML payload for employee partner functions other than ER (for example, VE) and verify that the WorkAssignmentExternalID node is missing.
2. As a temporary workaround, add the WorkAssignmentExternalID node to the payload for the affected partner function before sending the replication.
3. Re-trigger the Business Partner replication and confirm that the record is processed successfully in Sales Cloud Version 2.

Note: The permanent fix will it becomes available in release 2608.
