Symptom
Rehired users are unable to launch eLearning modules due to the error message: "The content is inactive."
- The issue occurs when the last learning history for the item is marked as "Not for Credit."
- The problem is inconsistent; in some cases, the module loads successfully, while in others, the error appears.
- Despite the curriculum and items being configured with active content objects, users are directed to inactive content.
Environment
Reproducing the Issue
- The issue arises when a rehired user attempts to complete an eLearning module with their most recent history entry marked as "Not for Credit."
Resolution
Our Product Management team confirmed that this issue will be addressed in the 2H 2026 release.
An enhancement request to "Add Option to Include Inactive Learners in Reassignment Wizard" — has been logged and is scheduled for delivery in the 2H 2026 release.
