Symptom

There are special characters added to the name of the file when uploading an attachment on iPad's browsers.  

Environment

SAP Cloud for Customer 

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Logon on to an iPad in the browser.
  2. Select the required object and go to tab attachments. 
  3. Upload attachment.
  4. See special characters added to file's name.

Resolution

This is a behavior related to iOS, already reported to Apple in other circumstances. 

Even though it happens for all browsers, this is not a problem in the app. If such characters are not wanted, I advise users to download and use solely the C4C app.
