3774945 - Fiori Launchpad URL app cannot open correctly in chrome on ios

Symptom

  • When launching a URL app tile from fiori launchpad on iOS using Chrome, the target opens without the http or https scheme.
  • The browser shows the error message "site can't be reached".
  • The same URL app works in Chrome on desktop.
  • The same URL app works in Safari on iOS.
