3774948 - Sales Kit is Not Supported in Contracts

When attempting to add a Sales Kit product to a contract, the system displays the following error:

"Products with item group Sales Kit not supported (KBA: 3216002)."

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Navigate to the Sales Order work center.
2. Select the Contracts view.
3. Open the contract ABC (ABC represents the Contract ID).
4. Navigate to the Items tab.
5. Add the Sales Kit product XYZ and press Enter (XYZ represents the Sales Kit ID).
6. The following error message is displayed:

Error: Products with item group Sales Kit not supported (KBA: 3216002).

Sales Kit products are currently not supported in Contracts.

Currently this is the standard system design.

If desired, a new Improvement Request can be submitted on the SAP Customer Influence website. This way the Business ByDesign development team can check and further evaluate the feasibility to implement such feature in the system.
