SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

1. Attempt to delete an outbound delivery document.
2. The system prevents deletion and displays the error: "delivery cannot be deleted because it is planned on a transport".

• The outbound delivery item contains no material or no quantities.
• The Transportation Planning Status at header level is C – Completed Planned, indicating it was planned.
• There is no freight unit in the document flow, leaving the document flagged as planned and not directly deletable.

1. Edit the outbound delivery and insert at least one delivery item with a quantity to recreate the Freight Unit (FU) automatically.
2. Plan the recreated FU into a temporary (dummy) Freight Order (FO) and save.
3. Remove the FU from the dummy FO (select the FU in the FO and delete it) to reset the transportation planning status of the outbound delivery.
4. Open the Manage Freight Units app, select the FU related to the delivery, and choose Delete Delivery to remove the outbound delivery.
5. Cancel the dummy Freight Order(s) created in step 2.
