Symptom

  • IBP to CIDS data transfer jobs fail with RFC communication failure.
  • Error RFC_ABAP_RUNTIME_FAILURE with Exception_Key: DBSQL_CONNECTION_ERROR.
  • Error text: “Connection error when establishing database connection R/3*IBP_QUERY_PRE_INIT.”
  • Or access violation Error: “System Exception <ACCESS_VIOLATION>: ......ClientPingEvent::dispatch()+......WebsocketPingWorker......”
  • Error text: “RFC function call failed: IBP post processing results … BATCH_STATUS - ERROR (during INSERT_UPDATE).”
  • Job reruns also fail with the same errors.
