3775576 - Text Management section of the Manage Catalog Items Fiori app,

In the Text Management section of the Manage Catalog Items Fiori app, the input fields for Search Keywords and Long Text intermittently fail to render when

creating or editing a catalog item. Only the field labels appear with no input control, preventing users from entering or modifying data. The behavior is

non-deterministic — the same steps may work on one attempt and fail on another.

  Impact: Users cannot maintain Search Keywords and Long Text data for catalog items, directly blocking procurement master data maintenance processes.

  Root Cause:

  The fields Search Keywords and Long Text were not rendering correctly in draft/edit mode, and were also not editable directly in the Text Management

  section. Additionally, the values were not displayed correctly in display mode when general information was modified.

  Fix (released in SAP S/4HANA Cloud Edition 2608):

  - Search Keywords and Long Text fields are now visible and editable in both draft mode and edit mode.

  - Both fields display correctly rendered data in display mode.

  - Users can directly modify these fields in the Text Management section when entering edit mode for an existing Catalog Item.

  Availability: Fix is included in 2608 release, deploying to production systems on 14th/15th August 2026.
