• In a planning model story, restricted and calculated measures display correctly when the ACCOUNT dimension is on rows, but all such measures show blank when ACCOUNT is moved to the table filter and an ACCOUNT attribute is placed as an attribute dimension on rows.
• Opening the same table via Data Analyzer from the table context menu shows values for the restricted and calculated measures.

SAP Analytics Cloud

1. Open a story based on a planning model that uses an ACCOUNT dimension
2. Place ACCOUNT on rows and restricted/calculated measures on columns; observe values are displayed.
3. Move ACCOUNT from rows into the table filter.
4. Add an ACCOUNT attribute (property) as an attribute dimension on rows.
5. Observe that all restricted and calculated measures in the story table show blank.
6. From the table context menu, open the same table in Data Analyzer and observe that values are displayed there.

By design behavior.

If a base measure (e.g., Amount) returns no data for the given filter/context, then all calculated measures that use this base measure will also return no data. This is expected because the calculation engine has no underlying values to operate on.
