Symptom
When creating a Ticket follow-up document in SAP ERP from SAP Cloud for Customer, the field InstalledObjectTypeC is not populated in the Payload.
Environment
SAP Cloud for Customer
Cause
Note that for this scenario, the FollowupDocumentCreationRequestFromServiceRequestCreationOut is being used.
The InstalledObjectTypeC field is populated in the payload sent from Cloud for Customer only if the corresponding Registered Product associate to the Ticket has an Installation Point assigned.
If no Installation Point is maintained for the Registered Product, the InstalledObjectTypeC field is not populated and is sent as an empty value in the payload.
If the field is received in ERP with an empty value, subsequent errors may occur in the ERP system.
Resolution
This is the expected system behaviour
