3775871 - After switching on "Enable the latest Viewing, Editing and History UI on Full Profile (With Non-Configurable UI)," the message does not pop up a Dialog Box

Symptom

After switching on "Enable the latest Viewing, Editing and History UI on Full Profile (With Non-Configurable UI)," the message does not pop up a Dialog Box but shows an error code 400 instead.

But if the option "Enable the latest Viewing, Editing and History UI on Full Profile (With Non-Configurable UI)" is not enabled, the error message is displayed as a popup as expected.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Configure an Onchange rule in the EffectiveStartDate to raise a message.
  2. Open a user’s People Profile that contains a custom MDF object card with Enable the latest Viewing, Editing and History UI on Full Profile (With Non-Configurable UI)"
  3. Enter the effective Start Date to trigger the message rule.
  4. The message does not appear as a popup but instead shows error code 400.

Cause

This is a Known Issue. 

Resolution

The fix for this issue is planned to be deployed on 2H2026 Release.

As a workaround, you can choose not to check the "Enable the latest Viewing, Editing and History UI on Full Profile (With Non-Configurable UI)" option, and the message will appear as a popup.
