3775919 - Formatted Text Field Have HTML Tags

You created a custom field of type formatted text to store the complete text but when you download the report, the text contains html tags.

SAP Cloud for Customer core applications 

1) Go to business analytics work center

2) Go to design reports view

3) Open the report

4) Download the report and observe  formatted text field will show html tags

It is standard behaviour of a formatted text.

It is a standard behavior of a formatted text to show html tags when download the report. 

The report display a maximum of 1024 characters for plain text fields to maintain reliable performance. So when you have to use a formatted text field which can show beyond 1024 characters  in report and the full content can be downloaded but it will contains html tags.

If your goal is to show or export the entire content, keeping the field as formatted text in the report and using the download option will preserve everything beyond 1024 characters.
