3776014 - stop_iq throws bash "value too great for base" error on rhel 9

Symptom

  • When running the stop_iq command on RHEL 9, the following error message is displayed:

    $ stop_iq
    /opt/SAPIQ/IQ-16_1/bin64/stop_iq: line 863: 0358: value too great for base (error token is "0358")

    Despite the error message, stop_iq completes successfully and the SAP IQ server shuts down cleanly.
