3776077 - manage job profile new admin experience does not show 4000-byte limit error and content is not saved

With New Admin Experience-Manage Job Profile page does not throw the 4000 byte max limit error and in turn does not save any content added.

SAP SuccessFactors Job Profile Builder

1. Log in and access Manage Job Profiles Tool.
2. In a Long Description section, paste content and apply formatting (for example, text color changes).
3. Save: no error is shown, and the content is not saved.
4. Switch to Old Admin Experience, paste the same content with the same formatting, and save: the 4000-byte maximum limit error is displayed.

This is a Known Issue.

Extra formatting increases the byte count for the content, which contributes to exceeding the 4000-byte limit.

Product Engineering is investigating a solution.

Workaround

Disable New Admin Experience, then add or update Job Descriptions using the Manage Job Profiles tool.
