3776099 - Enable option missing from 'Manage Situation Type - Extended' application

Symptom

  • In 'Manage Situation Types – Extended', the 'Enable' button for all standard and copied situation types is disabled.
  • All standard and copied situation types show an empty status.

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Open 'Manage Situation Type - Extended' application.
  2. Select any situation.
  3. Enable option is missing.

Cause

Situations are created with the category as 'Situation Template'.

Resolution

  • The 'Enable' option becomes available only after create a 'Situation Type' based on the template.
  • Once the 'Situation Type' has been created, should be able to see and use the 'Enable' option.
