Symptom
- The international version of customer addresses (for example maintained in Cyrillic) is not reflected in the sales quote output/form template.
- The output displays Latin characters instead of Cyrillic characters.
Environment
SAP Cloud for Customer
Reproducing the Issue
- Open a sales quote and preview the output document.
- Check the associated customer account and confirm both a default address and an international (local-script, for example Cyrillic) address are maintained.
- Preview the sales quote output or review the generated XML and observe that the Latin address is displayed; the Cyrillic address is not present.
Cause
- The sales quote form template data source (XML) does not include any node/field for the international/local-script address version maintained on the account.
- Only the default (Latin) address is supplied to the output; therefore, the international address cannot be rendered by the template.
Resolution
- Maintain the primary/default account address directly in the required local script (for example, Cyrillic) so the output displays it. Note: the Latin version will no longer be available in the default address field.
- Create extension fields on the account to store the local-script address details and bind these fields in a custom sales quote form template.
- If this capability is required, raise a product enhancement request via the official influence channel.
