Symptom
- An error occurs when creating a purchase order.
- The purchase order cannot be saved due to tax jurisdiction code validation.
- The following error message is displayed:
- "Tax Jurisdiction Code not allowed for tax calculation schema 0TXCAJ."

Reproducing the Issue
- Start creating a Purchase Order in the procurement app.
- Use a plant for which the tax jurisdiction code is not maintained in the plant address.
- Attempt to check or save the Purchase Order; the system raises the error “Tax Jurisdiction Code not allowed for tax calculation schema 0TXCAJ”.
Cause
The plant’s address does not have a maintained tax jurisdiction code, which is required by the active tax calculation schema.
Resolution
- Open the configuration activity “Define Plant” (SSCUI 105877) in the configuration environment.
- Select the relevant plant and click the Address icon to open the address details.
- Enter the correct tax jurisdiction code for the plant’s location in the address details.
- Save the changes.
- Recreate or update the Purchase Order; the error should no longer appear.
