• An error occurs when creating a purchase order.
• The purchase order cannot be saved due to tax jurisdiction code validation.
• The following error message is displayed:
• "Tax Jurisdiction Code not allowed for tax calculation schema 0TXCAJ."

1. Start creating a Purchase Order in the procurement app.
2. Use a plant for which the tax jurisdiction code is not maintained in the plant address.
3. Attempt to check or save the Purchase Order; the system raises the error “Tax Jurisdiction Code not allowed for tax calculation schema 0TXCAJ”.

The plant’s address does not have a maintained tax jurisdiction code, which is required by the active tax calculation schema.

1. Open the configuration activity “Define Plant” (SSCUI 105877) in the configuration environment.
2. Select the relevant plant and click the Address icon to open the address details.
3. Enter the correct tax jurisdiction code for the plant’s location in the address details.
4. Save the changes.
5. Recreate or update the Purchase Order; the error should no longer appear.
