Symptom
When processing a CFDI electronic invoice that includes the Foreign Trade Complement (Complemento de Comercio Exterior) in SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition, the document is rejected by the PAC with the following error:
- "Value '1.1' of attribute 'Version' of element 'cce20:ComercioExterior' is not valid with respect to the corresponding attribute use. Attribute Version has a fixed value of 2.0."
Environment
SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition
Reproducing the Issue
- Create an SD invoice in SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition for Mexico localization.
- Initiate the Document Compliance process integrated with EDICOM.
- In the eDocument Cockpit, generate the CFDI xml and start stamping (timbrado).
- Submit the xml to SAT/EDICOM for validation.
- Observe the rejection with: "Attribute Version has a fixed value of 2.0".
- Review the xml and note ComercioExterior has Version="1.1" while the namespace is ComercioExterior20.
Cause
The Version attribute in the Foreign Trade Complement XML node is controlled by the configuration field COMEXT_VERSION in SSCUI 103804.
If this value was not updated to 2.0 following the SAT legal change, the system generates a partially updated XML — the namespace references the ComercioExterior20 schema while Version still reads 1.1, causing PAC rejection.
Resolution
- In your configuration environment, search for Define Fixed Values and Value Mappings for the Foreign Trade Complement (SSCUI 103804).
- Locate the entry for COMEXT_VERSION.
- Update the value to 2.0.
- Save your entries.
- Regenerate and resubmit the CFDI.
