Symptom

This article describes the impact of the "Optimize Data Retrieval" setting over the custom drill level settings in the SAP Analytics Cloud Add-in for Microsoft Excel.

Environment

SAP Analytics Cloud Add-in for Microsoft Excel

Resolution

If "Optimize Data Retrieval" option is ENABLED then the custom drill level settings will be ignored and no longer have any impact.
If "Optimize Data Retrieval" option is DISABLED then custom drill level settings is used.
