3776347 - Error 400 when opening custom MDF portlet via home page quick link

Symptom

  • When opening a custom MDF portlet from a Home Page, a quick link shows: 
    “Looks like something went wrong” and “Please try again. If the issue persists, contact your system administrator.” Error Code: 400.
  •  The problem only occurs when a user accesses the card directly through a saved or shared link and no information is available.
