3776436 - Error 3250 on Free of Charge invoices submitted to SUNAT - eDocuments Peru

Symptom

  • Free of Charge invoices fail when submitted to SUNAT with the following error:
    3250: "El Monto neto pendiente de pago no cumple el formato definido" (The net pending payment amount does not meet the defined format)

  • The generated XML for these invoices includes a PaymentTerms entry declaring the payment type as "Credito" with an amount of 0.00 PEN. SUNAT's validation rules reject this because a credit payment type with a zero pending amount is invalid for a document where there is nothing to collect.
