3776774 - EOP check prevents Blocking Supplier in the Block Master Data - Customer & Supplier app

• When attempting to block supplier data via the customer and supplier master data blocking, the system prevents blocking due to ongoing business activities reported by application ERP_VEND.
• Error message: "Bus. activities for supplier not complete in application ERP_VEND" (Message no. CVP_DP_ILM151).
• The end of purpose (EoP) check calculates a Next EoP Check Date far in the future (for example, xxxx-xx-xx), even though no transactional usage is known.

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

1. Start the blocking process for supplier master data using the "Block Master Data - Customer & Supplier" / "Block Supplier Master Data" functionality.
2. Run the blocking job and observe that the system raises CVP_DP_ILM151 stating business activities are not complete in application ERP_VEND and sets a Next EoP Check Date far in the future.

Missing or incorrect ILM residence rule configuration for policy category Residence Rules for object category BUPA_DP (for example, incomplete setup across ILM objects, multiple residence rules maintained, or nonstandard time offset).

Follow below steps for maintaining customer account group in Manage Your Solution app:

1. Open 'Manage Your Solution' app.
2. Navigate to 'Configure Your Solution'.
3. Search for the ID '106666'.
4. Choose configuration activity '106666 -Maintain ILM Policies and Rules'.
5. Open Policy Category "Residence Rules" for object category BUPA_DP.
6. Ensure a single Residence Rule is maintained for all relevant ILM objects under BUPA_DP, Leave the Time Offset field empty in the Residence Rule (per standard).
7. Save the configuration and make the Residence Rule Live as well.

In case while using SAP Central Business Configuration (CBC) :

1. Log on to the project experience in SAP Central Business Configuration.
2. Select the relevant project.
3. Navigate to the configurations activity tab.
4. Search for the configuration activity '106666 -Maintain ILM Policies and Rules'.
5. Open Policy Category "Residence Rules" for object category BUPA_DP.
6. Ensure a single Residence Rule is maintained for all relevant ILM objects under BUPA_DP, Leave the Time Offset field empty in the Residence Rule (per standard).
7. Save the configuration and make the Residence Rule Live as well.

After the configuration is done in the above mentioned SSCUI,

Run the blocking job again in the application "Block Customer and Supplier Master data". The Next EoP Check Date should be derived per standard (end of the current month) and allow blocking as expected.
