Symptom

Consider the following scenario:

  • It is being used the Fiori App ID IDCP (Print Prenumbered Forms)
  • Attempting to view the generated document results in an error that the file cannot be opened, showing the error message like "Failed to load PDF document"
  • The same process works when using transaction code IDCP in SAP GUI
  • Related printing error that can occur in web environments: “File does not begin with ‘%PDF-’”.
