3776940 - Calculation for a Date Field Results in Errors When Using Duration Fields

Symptom

When you create a Determination that populates a custom field of type DATE by adding a Duration field to a Date field, the system throws an error similar to:
“INTERNAL: Error: Error while evaluating assignment ({closeDate} + {extensions/ZDurationField}) in determination XYZ for property extensions/ZABC of instance "".”
Clarifications:
  • The expression {closeDate} + {extensions/ZDurationField} is an example of the assignment.
  • XYZ refers to the Determination name.
  • The failure occurs when the Duration contains time components (hours, minutes, seconds) instead of only year/month/day components.
