3777022 - Position-to-job onChange rule not running on page load in Rehire Data Review - Onboarding

• The position-to-job information sync onChange rule does not run on page load in rehire data review (rhdr), while it runs in new hire data review (nhdr) and manage pending hires (mph).
• No error message is shown.
• Changing the Position value manually causes the rule to run and the fields populate.

1. Start a rehire verification for a candidate in Onboarding
2. Accept as rehire on old employment
3. Navigate to the Job Information portlet in Rehire Data Review.
4. Observe that some job info fields are blank despite the Position holding values.
5. Note that the position-to-job sync onChange rule configured on Position does not run on page load.
6. Change the Position to a different value and then back; the rule runs and the fields populate.

A bug prevents the onChange rule from running on Rehire Data Review page load.

1. Engineering are aware of this issue and patch fix has been created. PTCH-50614 has tentative release date of: preview on 14 July 2026 and production on 17 July 2026.
2. This fix is under a feature toggle which will be opt in for 2H2026 and engineering will remove the opt in toggle in 1H2027 
3. Until the fix is applied, as a temporary mitigation in Rehire Data Review, change the Position to a different value and then back to the intended Position to run the onChange rule and populate the fields.
