3777049 - Rating label not shown for Decimal Competency scores, Numeric value displayed in summary

• In performance forms, the competency assessment summary shows a rating label for some items but only a numeric value for others.
• Items with whole-number ratings display the label (for example, 1, 2, 3), while non-exact/decimal ratings display only the numeric value.
• Behavior observed on both in-progress and completed performance forms.

Product: SAP SuccessFactors Performance & Goals

1. Open the Performance module and access a performance form.
2. Go to the Summary section of the form.
3. Click the weighted grade for the Competency Assessment section.
4. Review the competency ratings: some entries show the rating label, while others show only a numeric value.
5. Check the form template’s Competency Assessment section to identify the configured rating scale.
6. Review the rating scale configuration: labels exist for specific whole-number values (for example, 1, 2, 3).

The system displays a rating label only when the calculated rating exactly matches a rating value that has a defined label on the rating scale. If the rating is non-exact/decimal and no exact label matches that value, the system shows the numeric value instead.

1. This is expected behavior. Labels are shown only for exact rating values that have defined labels on the rating scale.
2. If labels must appear for non-exact/decimal values, submit an enhancement request through the Customer Influence channel to request support for labeling non-exact ratings.

Workaround:  Consider adjusting rounding/decimal settings or configure your calculations so final ratings resolve to labeled whole-number values on the rating scale.
