3777283 - Deletion or Deactivation is not possible of Alternative Chart of Accounts; SSCUI 102422 – SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Not able to delete or deactivate entries in SSCUI 102422 Edit Chart of Accounts. 

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

1. Open configuration activity SSCUI 102422 (Edit Chart of Accounts).
2. Select the pre-delivered alternative chart of accounts delivered with the activated country scope (for example, YIKR, YPCF) or the custom one.
3. Attempt to delete or deactivate it.
4. Observe that the system prevents the action and may show "Cannot delete/deactivate Chart of accounts" or the delete button is disabled.

• The alternative chart of accounts is automatically delivered with best practice content when a country scope is activated. Deletion or deactivation is blocked by design to prevent inconsistencies with best practice content.
• Once the custom alternative chart of accounts is created it is not possible to delete it as well. 

Deletion of entries is not supported in SSCUI 102422 Edit Chart of Accounts.
