3777378 - Business partner replication sends system id as null in standard iflow package

Symptom

When replicating business partners from S/4 to CPQ, the systemId is sent as the textual value "null". Due to systemId being "null", only the first business partner can be created, subsequent creations fail because the systemId is not distinct.

Environment

  • SAP CPQ
  • SAP S/4 HANA
  • SAP CPI

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Start the standard business partner replication from the source system to CPQ using the standard IFlow Packages
    • IFlow SAP CPQ - Quote 2.0 Integration with SAP S/4HANA Sales Order
      • Replicate Business Partner from SAP Master Data Integration
      • Replicate Business Partner Relationships from SAP Master Data Integration
  2. Check the outbound payload to CPQ and observe that SystemId is set to "null" for replicated BP
  3. Verify that only 1 BP has been replicated.

Cause

  • Bug
  • After changes in "GetProperty" in mapping of SystemId field, whenever the mapping is related to new BP that should be created, the initial systemId is set to have value "null" (textual null value).

Resolution

  • ETA: CPQ-2608
  • Workaround: Customize IFlow in order to pass correct systemID.
