3777526 - Production Task Cannot Be Modified After Production Lot or Production Order Is Closed

System does not allow changes to the Production Task after Production Order and Production Lot are closed.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to Production Control work center.
2. Go to Task Control view.
3. Search for Production Task document ABC (ABC represents production task).
4. Choose Change Status.
5. Select Restart.
6. System throws error message:

Action Failed
------> Status of the task cannot be changed; production lot is already closed

• The Production Task becomes read-only after the Production Order and Production Lot are closed.
• Therefore, changes such as updating the task status, adjusting quantities, or removing serial numbers are not supported even through backend corrections.

This is the expected system behavior.
